Madrigal Op.9 No.1 is a beautifully atmospheric piece, composed for flute with piano accompaniment by Louis Aubert (1887-1968). This is a very lyrical and expressive piece and Aubert shows some artistic affinity with Debussy and Ravel. The solo flute part is also included on a separate insert.
