This volume contains three colourful and rich intermezzos, by great German romantic, Johannes Brahms. These Drei Intermezzo were composed in 1892 and display an extremely wide emotional range so that they are often deemed to be some of the finest character pieces written in the 19th century.

This Associated Board of the Royal School of Music edition has been effectively edited and annotated, by Howard Ferguson.
