Paul Hindemith's musical style is heavily influenced from the music of the Reformation. From composers such as Bach, Schumann, Brahms and Reger he has inherited a love of all things German such as chorales and a preoccupation with the symphony, chamber music and opera. This is his Sonata for Flute and Piano.
